SACM – Systems and Applications
IT Component Hierarchy
Systems and Applications are the topic as RAPA continues its eLearning series on the role IT Component Hierarchy (SACM) plays in Service Oriented IT Management. Service Oriented IT Management attempts to shield Clients from the complexities of IT, the fact that an IT Systems (i.e. Human Resources) is made up of many software components is irrelevant to the Client. Clients want capabilities to be effective in their job, that’s it. Systems and Applications are the 2nd and 3rd tier (top down) of the IT Component Hierarchy and must be included in IT Business Analytics effort.
